Silly Brethren Playing Dress-Up

Aire | Related Precedents for Anything & Everything Awesome

For all those who know my brother personally, know that he is obsessed with Mickey Mouse & the Disney Channel. My sister is obsessed with the Disney Channel... Mickey Mouse, not so much. Nhia prefers Hello Killy & Sanrio characters over the Disney creed.

I love being funny & weird. It's my thing! So the following outfit definitely got many a laugh out of my little brohan.
Note: Those are my brother's siqq shoes.

Authentic Classic Queens Grills

Aire | Their Eyes Do Kill... Hardbody!

Pedro & Alli are two of my closest friends and pinnacle examples of Queens hoodrats. These were taken definitely past the 12am mark on some random weeknight in a 24 hour hidden secret gem of Northern Queens called 'Cherry Valley'. That is all I will reveal. Google it. I know you will.

Work Hard. Sleep Hardest.

Aire | Cute Ass Motherfucker

Saw this Squirrel collecting leaves in his mouths no doubt to prepare himself a warm home for the oncoming New York City winter onslaught.  He was on my friend Kenny's neighbor's fence when I was picking him up cos I was gonna sell my Marshal JCM 2000 head and Marshall 1960 cabinet to either Guitar Center or Sam Ash cos my credit card debt right now is $3,000+

Yeah, I know.

I'm an asshole.  But isn't this nigga MAD fat?!

Taryn Hoover

Aire | Archangel

Taryn just Instant Messaged me on Facebook and said: "You better damn well put me in there someday."

Well, Taryn.

Looks like today's your day.
The very first picture featured in this entry is from around the time that we first started talking to each other.  I really don't even remember how I found her but it was around the time that MySpace was really big back in 2005/2006 and it was the common habit to just add anyone that was of interest to you.
So basically, she is just about the greatest girl I've never met.  However, we do talk on the phone once in a while and I did write to her snail mail once this year.  Which... by the way, girl!  I'm still waiting!

I love Taryn because her style is so Southwest.  She represents Arizona & furthermore, I respect & adore this girl for being a genuine heroine for the world.

1) She went to Africa to volunteer.
2) She toured America and played drums in a band for church.  I love how devoutly religious she is yet a new-age rebel of sorts since she is very open-minded and not a brainwashed zombie zealot pre-programmed according to quote unquote divine robotronics.

The Star-Crossed

Aire | Incandescent & Beautiful

Isn't Kirsten absolutely radiant? When I first saw her, jetsetting past me from our train stop in Astoria, the initial thought that ran through my head was, "Please don't get away."

For she was heads away from me in the crowd and I had to fight my way politely to her side to pose the question, "May I take a picture of you?"

She, as evidence shows, cordially complied and much to my satisfaction, what should have been mere pictures had undergone a metamorphosis and became photographs.

The first picture I took of her was by Hoyt Playground, because the setting was just so urban & she was just glowing.

Even though I just met her, I felt bad because I put her under a spotlight which she didn't have to stand under. Especially since I knew that she had probably just gotten out of work that late evening.

The conversation took place as follows:

Ceasar - I'm sorry. I know we just met. But would you mind if I walked you home? A classy lady like you, I wouldn't wanna see you get hurt.

Kirsten - Oh yeah? In Astoria? It's not a bad neighborhood!

Ceasar - Yeah I know, but. It's fine, I don't have to. Just wanted to throw it out there.

Kirsten - No, it's fine. But what are you gonna do in case something happens?

Ceasar - I dunno. Scare them off with my big, bad, black leather jacket?

Kirsten laughed & then said, "Alright, let's go."

Kanika

Aire | FOX

Kanika - Okay! Wow! That's so flattering! I better not get any bad comments!
You really made my day cos I just got out of a bio test.

Me - Oh! I love this one! This one is hot! I love your attitude & flair!

Kanika - Oh, you are a hot talker! I mean, sweet talker!
I'm glad that I can help make some people's day by telling them honest compliments. I think I have a thing for all black outfits just cos it's so New York City. California is full of color. New York City style is notoriously known for being dark. i.e. Black, Gray, Blue, Brown. Kanika's lace cardigan really caught my eye at first & then when she smiled, my eyes melted-- so I had to take these pictures whilst blind.
